Easter new FPMS principal

LaToya Easter is the new principal of Four Points Middle School replacing Joe Ciccarelli, who opened the school in 2010 and is now retiring.

“I am excited to welcome LaToya Easter back to Leander ISD as the new principal of Four Points Middle School,” said Dan Troxell, Leander ISD superintendent on May 17. “LaToya is an energetic leader who brings a vast amount of experience in best instructional practices and supporting achievement for all students. LaToya is ready to build upon the incredible culture that has been established at Four Points and continue to enhance teaching and learning for all.”\

Easter began her teaching career in 2006 as a middle school ELA teacher in Alvin ISD, later serving as a head coach and assistant principal in the same district. She served in Leander ISD as an assistant principal at Rouse High School from 2015–2017 and is currently an associate principal at McNeil High School in Round Rock ISD.

“I am thrilled to serve the students, faculty and community of Four Points,” Easter said.

“This is an incredible opportunity to continue the traditions and achievements that have been established and to persist in our pursuit of creating new and invaluable experiences to further propel our students’ success.”

Easter earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and her master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. She has earned a distinction as an Education Specialist in the College of Doctoral Studies at Grand Canyon University.
