How Four Points voted

The Travis County precincts located in the Four Points area had some shifts in how they voted during last week’s election.

Precinct 232

In Precinct 232, with a polling site at Canyon Ridge Middle School, 55 percent of total registered voters in the precinct voted.

In the U.S. Senate race, 49.17 percent of the precinct voted for national winner Republican Ted Cruz, 50.02 percent voted for Democrat Beto O’Rourke and 0.81 percent for Libertarian Neil M. Dikeman.

In the race for governor, 56.43 percent of the precinct voted to reelect winner Republican Greg Abbott, 41.46 percent for Democrat Lupe Valdez and 2.11 percent for Libertarian Mark Jay Tippets.

In the District 47 State Representative race, 53.60 percent of the district voted to reelect Republican Paul Workman with winner Democrat Vikki Goodwin receiving 46.40 percent of the precinct votes.

Precinct 233

In Precinct 233, with a polling site at River Place Elementary School, 51 percent of total registered voters in the precinct voted.

In the U.S. Senate race, 39.70 percent of the precinct voted for national winner Cruz, 59.71 for O’Rourke and 0.59 percent for Dikeman.

In the race for governor, 45.36 percent of the precinct voted to reelect winner Abbott, 52.05 percent for Valdez and 2.59 percent for Tippets.

In the District 47 State Representative race, 43.23 percent of the district voted to reelect Workman with winner Goodwin receiving 56.77 percent of the precinct votes.

Precinct 234

In Precinct 234, also at River Place Elementary, 54 percent of total registered voters in the precinct voted.

In the U.S. Senate race, 46.39 percent of the precinct voted for national winner Cruz, 52.72 percent for O’Rourke and 0.89 percent for Dikeman.

In the race for governor, 54.18 percent of the precinct voted to reelect winner Abbott, 44.08 percent for Valdez and 1.73 percent for Tippets.

In the District 47 State Representative race, 50.98 percent of the district voted to reelect Workman with winner Goodwin receiving 49.02 percent of the precinct votes.

Precinct 244

In Precinct 244, with a polling site at Randalls in Steiner Ranch, 49 percent of total registered voters in the precinct voted.

In the U.S. Senate race, 38.59 percent of the precinct voted for national winner Cruz, 60.24 percent for O’Rourke and 1.18 percent for Dikeman.

In the race for governor, 46.23 percent of the precinct voted to reelect winner Abbott, 51.14 percent for Valdez and 2.63 percent for Tippets.

In the District 47 State Representative race, 43.28 percent of the district voted to reelect Workman with winner Goodwin receiving 56.72 percent of the precinct votes.

Precinct 245

In Precinct 245, 58.41 percent of total registered voters in the precinct voted.

In the U.S. Senate race, 41.44 percent of the precinct voted for national winner Cruz, 57.49 percent voted for O’Rourke and 1.08 percent for Dikeman.

In the race for governor, 49.04 percent of the precinct voted to reelect winner Abbott, 49.40 percent for Valdez and 1.57 percent for Tippets.

In the District 47 State Representative race, 46.48 percent of the district voted to reelect Workman with winner Democrat Vikki Goodwin receiving 53.52 percent of the precinct votes.

Precinct 343  

In Precinct 343, 43.92 percent of total registered voters voted.

In the U.S. Senate race, 27.69 percent of the precinct voted for national winner Cruz, 71.18 percent voted for O’Rourke and 1.12 percent for Dikeman.

In the race for governor, 33.99 percent of the precinct voted to reelect winner Abbott, 62.60 percent for Valdez and 3.41 percent for Tippets.

Donna Howard ran unopposed in the District 48 State Representative race.

Precinct 375

In Precinct 375, with a polling site at the Volente Fire Department, 43 percent of total registered voters in the precinct voted.

In the U.S. Senate race, 52.31percent for national winner Cruz, 45.71 percent of the precinct voted for O’Rourke and 1.98 percent for Dikeman.

In the race for governor, 56.10 percent of the precinct voted to reelect winner Abbott, 40.80 percent for Valdez and 3.10 percent for Tippets.

In the District 47 State Representative race, 55.58 percent of the district voted to reelect Workman with winner Goodwin receiving 44.42 percent of the precinct votes.
