Thanksgiving feast at Laura W. Bush Elementary

Laura W. Bush Elementary kindergarteners had fun dressing up as pilgrims for the annual Thanksgiving feast, and first graders joined in the festivities dressed as Native Americans, said Mindy Hostick, kinder teacher.

Students from schools all around the Four Points area enjoyed their annual Thanksgiving luncheon in the two weeks before Thanksgiving break. Parents and grandparents came out in droves to dine with their students on the traditional meal of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce and pumpkin cake, all prepared by each school’s cafeteria staff in their largest meal service of the year.
