Aug. 26

On Aug. 26 at 7655 RM 620 at 6:44 a.m., the Austin Police Department responded to multiple calls about a five-car incident. The investigation indicated that Jacob Byrd was attempting to make a left turn out of Tin Tara apartments when he collided with a white, 2014 Jeep Cherokee that was northbound. Byrd was ejected from the blue, 2008 Honda Accord he was driving at which time three other eastbound vehicles became involved.

The driver of the SUV, described as a White female, estimated to be in her mid-40s with short blonde or grey hair and a thin build, got out of the vehicle to check on the driver of the Integra before fleeing the scene.
