Northbound of new 620/2222 bypass opened this morning

The Texas Department of Transportation opened the newly constructed RM 620 bypass road to northbound traffic on Monday morning, July 19. Video

Drivers heading northbound on RM 620 can use the bypass road to access eastbound RM 2222.The southbound direction of the bypass road will open at a later date, and the project is expected to complete in early 2022.

TxDOT urges motorists that while construction continues on the RM 620/RM 2222 projects, please use extra caution when traveling through the work zone.
