VHS track & field teams take 1st and 2nd at District 25-6A

The Vandegrift track and field girls team was named District 25-6A Champions after last week’s event and the boys team was named District 25-6A runner-up. The UIL event was held April 12-13 at Hutto High School. 

“Congratulations VHS track and field athletes on an incredibly successful District 25-6A Championships,” shared Colin Sully, head track and field coach.

JV girls and boys teams placed 2nd and 9th grade boys brought home 1st place while 9th grade girls came in 5th place.

The area competition takes place this week on April 21 at Austin’s Burger Stadium.
