After a long pre-COVID pause, Grandview Hills Elementary brought back a beloved tradition—this time with an exciting update! The school opened a new track last year, which allowed runners to stay on campus during the trot. Pre-K3- 5th grade runners kicked things off with a lap around the track before making their way through seven festive activity stations. Kids created turkey hats, filled out thankful leaves, shared gratitude with Gobble Grams for teachers, tied ribbons of thanks, and so much more!
The Vandegrift PALS volunteered for the event, bringing extra energy, encouragement, and smiles to every station. Their support helped make Friday morning unforgettable for all our little trotters.
What a fun and heartwarming way to celebrate community, gratitude, and the start of the holiday season. We’re so glad to have this tradition back!
