The Four Freshmen – an American quartet formed in 1948 and known for its blend of jazz harmonies and vocal arrangements – entertained residents of Longhorn Village on December 8

Andy and Nancy Cruce, residents at Longhorn Village since 2019, sponsored The Four Freshmen. “Christmas Time is Here,” “When You’re Smiling,” “Day by Day,” “White Christmas,” “The Day Isn’t Long Enough,” and “O Tannenbaum” were some of the 17 songs they performed.

“We’ve got a great place to live, and it’s nice to give back. That’s the whole point of it,” said Andy.

“And everybody enjoys it,” Nancy added. The couple has sponsored four events like this. “There’s a lot of good talent to bring. Obviously the people love it. Everybody showed up.”
