Pipeline, tunnel puts Volente at odds with Brushy Creek water authority, $180M project to begin 2022

A proposed $180 million water pipeline and tunnel would run through Volente to benefit cities of Cedar Park, Leander and Round Rock of the Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority. The project is to begin in 2022 and its maintenance building would be located at 16621 Jackson St. Volente.
