LISD administration recommends keeping schools open, updating low-enrollment campus staff  

On September 18, Rachel Lilla of Steiner Ranch presented the Leander ISD Board of Trustees with 143 handwritten letters, many pleading with the board not to close Steiner Ranch Elementary. During the citizen comment period, Lilla also shared that 2,597 signatures were gathered in their “Speak Up for Steiner Ranch” petition to keep SRE open. Photo from LISD Board meeting video.
