The Vandegrift Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally was a huge community-wide hit last Wednesday, Oct. 5.
Viper organizations had floats and members marching in the parade. The route around VHS was lined with hundreds of spectators. PTSA donated prize money for the float contest.
Rob and Sandy Falgout of Texas Malibu let Four Points Pop Warner teams use many of their boats for floats.
The pep rally featured the UIL Lone Star Cup presentation. Philip and Melissa Busker of Mattress Firm coordinated the donation of the fireworks show and American Fireworks discounted the show for Vandegrift.
