  1. What are you doing to keep your program safe and healthy during the pandemic? We are working really hard to go by all the protocols set by our health authorities. We have masks on at all times and if we are outside, we have masks on our helmets. We work hard to keep spacing when reasonable, and also have limited locker room use and locker room shifts, so we are always spaced out. In addition each player/coach must  fill out a daily COVID screening questionnaire.
  1. Which team is predicted to win district?  Vandy is in most polls. But we are ready to defend our district title.  We understand that each week, we get every team’s best shot, but I believe this year’s Vandegrift team is ready to go and achieve that Viper level.
  2. Any up and coming players who are new on the scene?  We are excited about our returning OL and secondary players. We do have some new starters in some key positions that we are excited to see them make plays on the field for us.
  3. What’s a great story to share? Our manager, Tommy Hartman is the best story of this year’s team. He’s amazing.
