Run the Ranch raises $14,000

Nearly 400 runners were registered for Run the Ranch 2023 and $14,000 was raised for the Hill Country Special Needs Alliance.

The alliance is a 501c3 non-profit, volunteer organization with a mission to provide support to families and caregivers in the Greater Austin area.

It was a record year for funds raised and participant registrations, according to HCSNA organizers. There were 267 registered in the 5K and 130 for the kids run.

HCSNA support is provided by helping to offset some of the unique financial challenges impacting those with family members who have special needs. Some support includes ABA therapy, equine therapy, respite care, helping to pay bills for medical procedures or emergencies, covering the cost of durable medical equipment and life saving devices and more.

The overall male and female winners were Karson Gailey at 19:07 and Caroline Krupa at 20:41 who were both in the 13-14 age category.
