Viper Boys Soccer are Regional Champs
The Vandegrift Vipers defeated Veterans Memorial Brownsville on March 31 to become Regional Champions.
“Goals by Xander Yung, Ryder Atwood, and Luke Hawley propelled the team to a commanding 3-1 win,” shared Jonathan Winship, head coach VHS boys soccer. “They now move on to the 6A DII State Semifinal game vs Summer Creek.”

Vandegrift girls soccer continues in the soccer state playoffs. “We will be playing on Tuesday, 3/31 at 7:30 pm at Birkelbach stadium at Georgetown HS,” shared Caitlin Sawyer, VHS girls soccer head coach. “We are 22-3! We got 1st in our district and Dripping springs is 19-1-4 and got 1st in their district as well. Big match up!”
