ERCOT board members who live outside of Texas are resigning in the aftermath of the power outage, winter storm

Five board members of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas — the entity that manages and operates the electricity grid that covers much of Texas —will resign on Wednesday, Feb. 24 according to a notice to the Public Utility Commission.

Portions of WCID 17 were under a boil water notice over the past several days since Feb. 16. That notice has been lifted as of 4 p.m on Feb. 23.
