Valor Day honoring VHS namesake Matthew Vandegrift & his impact 

The VHS juniors and seniors hold pinkies as the school song is played by the state-winning band on Valor Day. Due to the growth of the school, only the upperclassmen attended the ceremony in the main gym, while freshmen and sophomores watched on a live stream.
