Former Steiner Ranch martial arts instructor and studio owner arrested, suspected in aggravated home robbery, Ex-wife, studio owner says she hasn’t had contact with alleged perpetrator in years

Andra Lacarlus Allen, 52, a former instructor and co-owner with Ernie Reyes World Martial Arts studio in its prior Steiner Ranch location, was arrested Feb. 17 by the U.S. Marshals office in conjunction with an alleged aggravated home invasion robbery. He is charged with a first degree felony and his bond in the incident was set at $150,000. Allen remains in custody as of 5 p.m. today, according to Travis County records.

Travis Co. arrests suspect in aggravated home invasion robbery

In the late morning hours of Feb. 11, 2020, a woman living in the 12200 block of Lake Stone Drive in Lakeway was bound and robbed at gunpoint by a male who entered her home.

Evidence has led detectives to believe the victim was targeted by the suspect as she shopped for groceries at a local store. Parking lot and neighborhood surveillance footage shows the suspect vehicle follow the victim home.
