The 95-room Hyatt Place hotel is now open after years of construction near CVS Pharmacy at the RM 620 intersection of Bullick Hollow Road/RM 2222.

Construction began on Hyatt Place Austin-Lake Travis/Four Points in August 2018 at the 6.6-acre tract at 7300 N. RM 620. Now two and a half years later, it is ready for business and opened doors this week.

The five-story hotel includes some 1,800-square-feet of event space, an outdoor pool, fitness center, onsite dining and bar.

The site also includes 105 parking spaces and a walking trail encircling the property, said Navid Karedia, partner in Spades Hospitality, in an early Four Points News report.

“We just saw that there was good corporate business and a good visitor market being near Lake Travis,” Karedia told Four Points News. He cited Concordia University Texas’ presence nearby as well as the other Class A office buildings in the area as additional factors.

“So it just seemed like a lot of growth is coming to the area along with a lot of mixed-use development,” he said. “We felt like it was a good area to get a nice Hyatt hotel in the market.”
