Local pharmacist deployed to help Princess ship passengers

Rachelle Simmons, fifth from the right, was deployed in March with the National Disaster Medical System to help with COVID-19 testing to Grand Princess cruise ship passengers. The picture shows the “swab team” including a doctor, respiratory therapist, epidemiology, paramedic, IT, chaplain, etc. who are from all over the country including Minnesota, Maryland, Virginia, DC, Connecticut and two from Texas.

High speed leads to warden chase, Three flee after crash in Steiner

Three occupants of this vehicle fled the scene after crashing into the retaining wall near the intersection of Country Trails Lane and Quinlan Park Road, across from the Towne Square fields in Steiner Ranch. Travis County Game Warden and Sheriff’s Office worked together on the case. ELLIE SEITZLER
