A Steiner Ranch man helped a woman from her vehicle who was in an accident off of Quinlan Park Road on Thursday.

Steiner Ranch resident, Chris Burton, helped a lady out of her vehicle last week after she went off the road and hit a tree near this intersection in the 3300 block of Quinlan Park Road.
“From the original dispatch information it looks like a vehicle went off the road and hit a tree in the 3300 block of Quinlan Park Road,” said Roger Wade, Travis County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson.
Chris Burton was on a conference call and on his way to the dentist when he was driving on Quinlan Park on Feb. 20.
“I’m just lucky I noticed her swerving all over the road, slowed and didn’t pass her… or she would have likely hit me,” Burton said.
“(The driver) seemingly lost consciousness, suddenly veered off the road and slammed into a tree at roughly 40 mph,” he said.
It happened right in front of Burton, so he pulled over, jumped out and ran back to where she was lodged against the tree.
