On Sept. 14, Tyler Handrick, a graduate of Vandegrift High School’s first graduating class of 2012, was skateboarding with a friend when he fell and hit his head.

Tyler remains on life support and his progress is slow. He is in ICU at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center.

Tyler was very involved with Austin Christian Fellowship and traveled to Nicaragua on one of their mission trips as well as helped many families locally thru ACF. Prayers are being said for him all over the world.

Over the last few days, Tyler has had more than 150 visitors including friends from high school, family, ACF staff and ACF members.

An account has been set up to help the Cedar Park family with medical expenses. That account number is 1812873238 and donations can be made at any Wells Fargo branch.

In addition, a website was set up today for those who prefer to make a donation on line or for those who would like to leave encouraging comments at: http://fundly.com/tyler-handrick
