POSTED Monday, April 25:

RM 620 bypass road to fully open Friday

The rain will delay the opening of the southbound lanes of the RM 620 bypass road. We now expect to open to traffic in both directions by noon on Friday, April 29, weather permitting.

The bypass will be in its final configuration with two lanes in each direction. The northbound right-turn signal will be removed and traffic will flow directly into a dedicated lane on eastbound RM 2222.

In preparation for the bypass opening, crews will be restriping RM 2222 between Sitio Del Rio Boulevard and RM 620. Expect various lane closures on Wednesday, April 27 and Thursday, April 28, 8 p.m. – 5 a.m.
