Last Tune Up! Vandegrift hosted Dripping Springs in a scrimmage on August 20 at Monroe Memorial Stadium. Both teams are expected to compete for the playoffs in the upcoming seasons. Each team’s offense put up big points. The Vipers open their season on the road at Brennan on August 28. The home opener is September 4 with a 7 p.m. kickoff versus state ranked SA Johnson at Monroe Stadium.
